IFBBSA (International Federation of Body Building South Africa) or BBSA (Body Building South Africa) is currently the biggest South African bodybuilding organization. They have competitions right through the year.

NABBA/NABBA SA

NABBA/WFF

NABBA International (National Amateur Body-builders' Association)

NABBA is the first, original, competitive bodybuilding association. It was formed in 1950. 

NABBA's first Mr. Universe contest was won by Steve Reeves. He went on to make over 30 Hercules movies. 

Top bodybuilders to win the Mr. Universe title include Reg Park, Bill Pearl and Arnold Schwarzenegger (a four-time winner).
